Malaga is the capital city of the Costa del Sol and is situated in southern Spain. As well as a very popular tourist destination for the Spanish there is a lot of English expats that think it is just the airport city but there is so much more than first meets the eye at the arrivals lobby, The city experienced the great civilizations of the Mediterranean, from the Phoenicians and the Greeks to the Romans, thanks to the tactical setting of the port, a vital site along the trade routes from ancient times. This city is famous for its gastronomy, arts and culture. The birth place of Picasso is filled with art galleries with great atmosphere an attractive destination for those that want to absorb more about Malagas history with great monuments and ancient architectural buildings. To all of this we must comment on the friendly character of the people of Malaga just sit in Bodega bar El Pimpi
and admire the surroundings and listen to the chatter over a tapas or plate of rosada (fish) which you can have in a lovely light batter some salad and red wine what more could you want!
